Case study
Client: Tasmanian Alkaloids
ARM staff conducted a 3 year project of mapping farm paddocks for Tasmanian Alkaloids in Tasmania. This has involved the mapping of approx 4000 paddocks around the state and providing them in a GIS system for Tasmanian Alkaloids to allow their field officers to manage the crops, which are grown on a rotational basis. Tasmanian Alkaloids are the major processors of poppies in Tasmania, which are used to produce morphine and thebaine. The project was an ARM staff initiative, which was readily adopted by Tasmanian Alkaloids.
