Client: Olivecorp Management Services
Olivecorp Management Services manage the olive groves at Boort on behalf of Timbercorp. This 2800 hectare grove is reputed to be the largest contiguous olive grove operated in the world. ARM staff have successfully provided irrigation scheduling and agronomic management strategies during 2003/2004.
Client: Brown Brothers
Brown Bros operate premium vineyards from the King Valley to Swan Hill in Victoria. ARM staff have supplied and supported Soil Moisture Monitoring and weather station systems as well as PAM UltraCrop management software, to all of their vineyard operations.
Client: Houston's Farm
Houston's Farm is the premier lettuce and mixed salad producer in Australia. ARM staff have been close operational supporter of this venture for the past 10 years and now operate as technical directors for the venture.
Recent expansion has seen Houston Farm utilise the full range of ARM's resources, from:
- Soil surveying, land capability studies for the identification of suitable land for expansion.
- Utilising computer GIS modelling of new property to explore various farm design options, optimising use of existing natural resources.
- Detailed dGPS survey/contouring for irrigation design and dam construction.
- Surveying of new farm layout.
